Your voice, your services, your choice.
Tamworth Borough Council is asking residents, businesses, and community groups to help decide how millions of pounds should be spent on local services in the years ahead.
The annual budget consultation, open now until 20 October, is your chance to influence decisions that affect everything from weekly bin collections and street cleaning to supporting vulnerable residents, maintaining our parks, and preserving local heritage.
Did you know? For every £1 of council tax collected, only 10p funds Tamworth Borough Council services. The rest goes to Staffordshire County Council, police, and fire services. With government funding falling and costs rising, every pound matters more than ever.
Council Leader Cllr Carol Dean said:
“The choices we make now will affect Tamworth for years to come. Every penny counts, which is why it’s so important we listen to the people of Tamworth when deciding where our limited resources should go.”
